Are you looking for a way to meet your volunteer service hours?  Shands at AGH is accepting applications for the Volunteer Program.  It runs from July 7th ? August 8th.  See Mrs. Thomas for an application.  (D. Thomas) 

Students:  The Alachua County School Board is looking for mentors for the summer pre-K program.  See Mrs. Skiles or Mrs. Thomas for information.  (D. Thomas) 

Gentlemen:  Listen up!  Remember that you MUST register with the Selective Service when you turn 18!  It?s the Law!  You cannot apply for financial aid without registering.  There is a link to the SSS on the Buchholz website.  (D. Thomas) 

Juniors & Seniors:  Fee waivers are available for both the ACT & SAT.  See your Guidance Counselor for eligibility requirements.  You may register on-line with a credit card or fee waiver.  (D. Thomas)

On Thursday, May 15th we will be remembering victims of drunk driving.  If you would like to participate, come by the table at lunch to have a tear painted on your face and sign the pledge to remain silent for the rest of the day in remembrance of those killed needlessly.  Remember:  Drinking of persons under the age of 21 is against the law – don’t ruin your memories.  (Skiles)
